Job summary

Google seeks a Masters-level candidate for a 12-week UX internship in the United States, with placement options including Cambridge, MA. You will design and conduct independent research across usability studies, surveys, and fieldwork, and translate findings into actionable design insights.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master's degree in related field (e.g., HCI, Psychology, CS).
• Experience with usability studies, surveys, or contextual inquiry is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct independent UX research using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Ensure effective communication of research findings to stakeholders.
• Collect and analyze user behavior through lab studies, field visits, ethnography, surveys, and experiments (A/B tests).
• Work cross-functionally with design, engineering, and product management to ensure data-driven decisions.
