Google LLC is seeking a UX Quantitative Researcher for the Tech for Social Impact team. You will design and run quantitative studies, build models and dashboards, and collaborate with engineers, designers, data scientists, and program leads to drive product strategy focused on social impact.

The role emphasizes data-driven insights, survey design, and rigorous statistical analysis to inform Google.org’s reporting initiatives and funding recipient impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of product research experience in an applied research setting or similar.
• Experience in programming languages used for data manipulation and computational statistics (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB, C++, Java, or Go).

Responsibilities

• Define and measure quantitative UX goals and metrics in collaboration with Designers, Qualitative Researchers, Data Scientists, Engineers and Program Managers.
• Develop code and statistical models to understand user experience.
• Conduct empirical research using methods from computer science, quantitative social science, statistics, econometrics, and other fields to understand user behavior and extract meaningful patterns from large data sets.
• Prioritize and drive research to improve user experience and communicate findings to stakeholders.
