Job summary

Google seeks a Quantitative User Experience Researcher to lead end-to-end studies and translate insights into product roadmaps. You will analyze logs, surveys, and experiments to uncover actionable metrics, collaborating with engineers and PMs to drive AI-enabled research across data engineering workflows.

You will join the Core team, influence architecture decisions, and leverage advanced analytics to boost engineer productivity at scale, while mentoring teammates within a supportive Quant UXR

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in product research in an applied research setting, including analyzing log data.
  • Experience in programming languages used for data manipulation and computational statistics (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and working with AI platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute end-to-end quantitative user research studies, including telemetry analysis, experiments, and large-scale surveys.
  • Apply statistical modeling and computational techniques to large datasets using SQL, Python, or R.
  • Advocate and scale AI-native research workflows with automated pipelines and evaluation tooling.
  • Drive cross-functional strategy with UX designers, PMs, and engineers to identify opportunities and shape roadmaps.
  • Define, validate, and track user-centered metrics influencing architecture and priorities.
