Job summary

Archer Aviation is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to own the iOS app of a mature consumer product in AI-powered aviation tools. You will work with in-house designers to translate complex concepts into seamless code and guide the future of digital flight tools.

You’ll join a small, expert team, with opportunities to ship features used daily, across iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS, while collaborating with Backend Engineering for end-to-end integration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial iOS development experience.
• Proficient in Swift and Objective-C.
• Strong knowledge of SwiftUI, UIKit, MapKit.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and backend familiarity.
• Proficient with iOS build systems, provisioning, and App Store requirements.
• Strong Git proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable features for iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS.
• Collaborate with designers to create intuitive UI/UX.
• Refactor Swift/Objective-C code for quality and reusability.
• Integrate REST APIs with robust data handling.
• Manage app lifecycle, builds, certificates, and App Store submissions.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold best practices.
