Job summary

Archer is seeking a UX Product Designer to shape end-to-end consumer aviation apps for iOS, Android, and accompanying web platforms. You will design for a diverse user base, from aviation enthusiasts to pilots, balancing fast, trustworthy information with elegant interfaces.

You will run explorations, validate ideas with users, and own project design leadership. The role involves shipping updates to app stores and iterating based on analytics and user feedback.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience minimum.
• Track record of shipping features for consumer mobile apps on App Store and Google Play.
• Live apps in users' hands; be prepared to discuss decisions.
• Deep fluency in native iOS and Android design and cross-platform thinking.
• Experience using data to shape design decisions (engagement, retention, reviews).
• Comfort with ambiguity and ownership of loosely defined problems.
• A portfolio that shows thinking, not just polished screens.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end product design for consumer aviation apps on iOS/Android and supporting web apps.
• Design for a broad user base from casual flyers to pilots needing fast, trustworthy info.
• Run product explorations, test with users, and kill weak ideas early.
• Own design leadership context for projects in collaboration with leadership, PM and engineering.
• Ship to App Store/Google Play and refine based on analytics, experiments, and user feedback.
• Raise the bar on craft across the org through your work and feedback.
