Job summary

Matician is looking for a UX Engineer / Design Engineer to enhance its mobile app experience. This role merges design and engineering, developing polished UI through collaboration with product designers and engineers.

The ideal candidate will have 1–4+ years of mobile development experience, familiarity with Rust and/or Python, and a strong attention to detail. The position offers a base salary between $96,000 and $120,000, along with equity and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–4+ years of experience in front-end or mobile development.
• Experience building product-facing UI, preferably for mobile.
• Familiarity with Rust and/or Python, iOS and/or Android.
• Strong attention to detail in spacing, hierarchy, motion, and interaction.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship high-quality UI in Matic’s mobile app.
• Translate Figma designs and prototypes into production-ready components.
• Implement smooth animations and thoughtful micro-interactions.
• Help visualize complex robot behaviors.
