Mujin is hiring a UI/UX Design Engineer to shape interfaces for live factory robotics. You will ship production front ends in our MUI/React codebase, from initial Figma concepts to final code, for operators and control systems on factory floors.

Collaborate with product, engineering, and field teams to turn real user needs into intuitive experiences. Design across desktop apps, HMI touchscreens, and scanner screens, modeling safety-critical states and prototyping rapidly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing complex enterprise or industrial product UI.
• Portfolio showing production‑released, visually refined work.
• Verifiable implementations of designs in production; MUI experience is a strong plus.
• Product thinking and tying design to outcomes (adoption, error rate).
• English communication with distributed engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end — in Figma and in code; ship production front end in MUI/React.
• Collaborate across product, engineering, operators, and field teams to translate user needs into intuitive experiences.
• Design across PC desktop apps, operator HMI touchscreens, and scanner screens.
• Model safety-critical states and unhappy paths to support continuous operations.
• Prototype fast; test concepts and decide when to deepen or pivot.
• Contribute to MujinController design system and MUI theme for a cohesive experience.
• Ground decisions in real-world data, field signals, and stakeholder input.
