Job summary

Patterson Companies, Inc. is seeking a user experience designer to partner with product and engineering teams. You will shape UI/UX by defining user interfaces, creating prototypes, and guiding usability testing to inform design decisions.

You’ll develop user profiles, journey maps, and design systems that improve B2B and B2C applications, with a focus on accessibility and inclusive experiences. A portfolio demonstrating UI/UX work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Interaction Design, Human Factors, HCI, IT/MIS, CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of industry experience in analysis, design, and documentation of B2B or B2C applications.
• Portfolio showing past UI/UX design work is required.
• Ability to conduct research and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and development teams to define UI/UX requirements aligned with the product vision.
• Create prototypes and MVIs to test, learn from user feedback, and iterate toward optimal design.
• Advocate for user-centered design, using tests, analytics, and A/B data to guide decisions.
• Develop user profiles, journey maps, personas, usability requirements, use cases and scenarios.
