Amazon.com Services LLC in San Francisco is seeking a UX Designer to own end-to-end experiences across voice and visual interfaces. You will translate needs into intuitive, customer-focused solutions and own design deliverables from concept to launch.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing to iterate on data-driven concepts and scale design systems for multi-modal experiences across desktop and mobile.

Qualifications

You will define, concept, and execute end-to-end experiences while working with your design partners and leadership. You will drive that vision into solid design deliverables, including multi-modal user interface designs and frameworks for voice and screen, interaction models, design specs, and prototypes. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and marketing — both inside our organization and with partner teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience with early-stage product development for multi-modal consumer experiences and be passionate, focused, and relentless.

Key job responsibilities

• Design solutions for difficult design and technical problems where product strategy is not fully defined
• Create conceptual sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes
• Collaborate effectively across diverse teams and disciplines to drive alignment and efficiency
• Develop and improve design patterns, standards, and processes that scale for your team
• Conduct brainstorming sessions and present at cross-team reviews to demonstrate features and drive design decisions
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data (metrics, usability studies) to inform product-level customer experience decisions
• Work closely with engineering to incorporate capabilities and constraints of the technology stack
• Balance short- and long-term design requirements against engineering constraints

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience
• Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to- end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices
• Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity
• Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery
• Experience as a design owner for UX and conversational design
• Experience designing multi-modal product experiences, with conversancy in natural language conversation

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
