Responsibilities and Impact

• Lead design outcomes for a mature project, complex program, or emerging area, defining scalable and sustainable approaches to solve difficult problems with limited precedent.
• Develop and evangelize long‑term user experience and product strategy for your team, guiding the momentum of multiple adjacent design efforts.
• Provide alternative perspectives that challenge prevailing thinking against common objectives, provoking greater divergence of thought within the team.
• Focus on foundational, high‑traffic surfaces, sitting at the intersection of utility and discovery, to make local information seamlessly accessible, beautiful, and actionable.
• Empower users to decide where to go, how to get there, and what to do when they arrive through intuitive and impactful design.
• Deliver comprehensive design specifications, prototypes, user flows, and assets that are production‑ready, adhering to and pushing the boundaries of established design systems.
• Collaborate extensively with a diverse UX team (Design, Research, Content Strategy) and cross‑functional partners (Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Data Science) to champion user‑centric solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver production‑ready designs, including comprehensive design specifications, prototypes, user flows, and assets.
• Experience adhering to and evolving design systems to seamlessly move concepts into production.
• Exceptional cross‑functional collaboration skills, with a track record of partnering effectively with broader UX teams (Design, Research, Content Strategy) and cross‑functional peers (Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Data Science).
• Demonstrated ability to champion user‑centric solutions in a complex environment.
