Walden Robotics is seeking a hands-on UX designer to shape immersive VR interfaces that help humans collaborate with robots in real time. You will own the design from foundational research to prototyping and validation, crafting experiences across immersive spatial surfaces and fleet-management tools.

You'll thrive in ambiguity, wear multiple hats, and raise the craft bar as an early member of a growing team. Strong prototyping and HRI intuition are essential.

Formación

• Deep interaction and visual craft demonstrated in complex, data-rich or real-time experiences.
• Strong systems and service thinking across multi-touchpoint journeys.
• Comfort leading discovery and usability testing and turning findings into decisions.
• Thrives in ambiguity, wears multiple hats, ships solutions with high autonomy.
• Bias toward prototyping (in Figma, lo-fi mockups, code) to learn fast.
• Expertise or interest in human factors and human-robot interaction (latency, presence, fatigue).

Responsabilidades

• Design the immersive VR-based interface to understand robot actions and direct it with confidence.
• Own end-to-end service design across people, robots, and tools for seamless experiences.
• Collaborate with engineering and ops to translate designs into deployable interfaces with quality.
• Run discovery and usability testing with operations teams and iterate based on findings.
• Help lay foundations of design practice, including craft, design system, standards, and culture.
