EnsoData is seeking a User Experience (UX) Designer to join a hybrid team in Madison, WI. You will conduct user research, create wireframes and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile apps, and collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure feasible, goal-aligned design solutions.

Responsibilities include usability testing, maintaining design systems, and staying current with industry trends to inform strategy. Experience with AI in design is a plus; a UX certification is beneficial.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as graphic design, computer science, or marketing.
Mobile app design experience.
UX design certification is a bonus.
Healthcare technology experience is a bonus.
Experience using AI tools in a design or product workflow is a bonus.

This hybrid position in Madison, WI offers a competitive salary of $135,000 to $145,000 along with bonus program, stock options and generous benefits, including paid time off.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Requirements

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as graphic design, computer science, or marketing
Mobile app design
User Experience Design certification is a bonus
Healthcare technology experience is a bonus
Experience using AI tools in a design or product workflow is a bonus

Qualifications

5+ years' experience as a User Experience Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar role, with on-the-job experience or formal education such as a UX design certificate or degree
Portfolio showcasing several user experience projects and design solutions
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools used with React, React Native, and mobile apps, Figma, and the Material UI design library
Experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and data analysis
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for close collaboration with developers
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
Comfort using AI tools to support research, ideation, UX copy, and documentation in daily design work

We will give preference to candidates located in WI and in the Midwest US.
