Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Illinois is seeking an experienced UX Designer to collaborate with our global UX team to design next generation public safety applications for device and peripheral displays. You will review concepts, evolve processes, and ensure design unity across the company.

You will work with researchers to understand user needs, conduct usability testing, and create wireframes, flows, and prototypes to communicate design intent to stakeholders. Telecommuting 2–3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience.
• Experience designing UX for complex applications, preferably in public safety or mission-critical contexts.
• Ability to communicate design decisions to stakeholders and iterate on feedback.

Job Description

• Collaborate with global UX team to design next generation of public safety applications both on device and peripheral display interfaces: review concepts, evolve processes, and ensure unity across the company.
• Work closely with experienced researchers to understand user needs and conduct usability testing.
• Leverage industry best practices and tools to create wireframes, flows, and prototypes to communicate design intent to stakeholders.
• Telecommuting permitted 2 to 3 days per week.

Target Base Salary Range: $75,150 to $131,800 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
