Job summary

Motorola Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced designer to shape the next generation of public safety applications and guide cross‑product strategy. You will drive design system evolution and mentor the team to ensure cohesive experiences across the suite.

You will lead high‑level research planning, define cross‑product requirements with leadership, and influence decisions that affect the larger ecosystem. Hybrid remote work is available, with base salary disclosed in the posting.

• Master's degree with at least 1 year of experience.

• Lead high-level research planning to frame the North Star experience vision.
• Architect product strategy and define cross-product requirements with leadership.
• Collaborate with the Design System team to evolve the system for the ecosystem.
• Coach designers and steer discussions in design reviews to drive outcomes.
• Influence product-level decisions by explaining impacts on the larger suite.
• Telecommuting permitted 2 to 3 days per week.

Job Description

• Design and develop the next generation of public safety applications leveraging the power of design to inspire change and execute the vision to orchestrate product strategy, evolve design processes, ensure suite-wide consistency, and create functional and appealing product designs.


• Lead high-level research planning, framing the \"North Star\" experience vision to inspire stakeholders.


• Architect product strategy and define cross-product requirements and priorities with leadership.


• Build partnerships within the Design System team to evolve the system for the entire ecosystem.


• Coach designers and steer meaningful conversations in design reviews to ensure outcomes.


• Influence product-level decisions by helping partners understand impacts on the larger suite/ecosystem.


• Telecommuting permitted 2 to 3 days per week.

Target Base Salary Range: $82,056 to $150,000 USD
