Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a UX Designer to craft mobile user experiences for Android and iOS within an agile setting. You will deliver wireframes, prototypes, and GUI specifications, collaborating with marketing, systems, QA, and UXR teams to ensure user-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant field is required.
• 1–3 years of UX and product design experience.
• Advanced knowledge of industry UX/Dev tools including InVision, Balsamiq, Azure, Zeplin and Creative Cloud.
• Fluent in usability standards, design heuristics, and responsive design techniques.
• Advanced knowledge of Android and iOS UI guidelines.
• Strong portfolio with storytelling and presentation skills.
• 1+ years in an agile environment with JIRA, Confluence, Helix, and Aha!
• Experience delivering mobile UX for consumer or medical devices.
• Experience with cross‑functional teams in distributed settings.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Define safe, effective, and delightful mobile user experiences using industry-standard design tools


• Deliver wireframes, assets, GUI specifications, prototypes, and interactive presentations


• Contribute to UX discussions and requirements with technical integration partners, including Glooko and Tidepool


• Iteratively test early concepts and apply user-centered design best practices


• Present design concepts and UX vision to company stakeholders and customers


• Ensure designs meet FDA guidelines for medical device experiences


• Drive UX process, tooling, design language, and innovation initiatives


• Define holistic customer experiences across product, web, mobile, integrations, wearables, and other touchpoints


• Contribute to corporate UX design language, standards, and frameworks


• Evangelize UX design across the company

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Master’s in Psychology, Computer Science, HCI, Industrial Engineering, Interaction Design, Design, Human Factors or equivalent required


• 1-3 years of relevant experience in UX and product design


• Advanced knowledge in industry-standard UX/Dev tools, including InVision, Balsamiq, Azure, Zeplin, Creative Cloud, Framer, Sketch, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript


• Fluent in usability standards, design heuristics, and responsive design techniques


• Advanced knowledge of Android and iOS UI guidelines and platforms


• Strong portfolio with strong storytelling and presentation skills


• 1+ years of experience working in an agile development environment with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Helix, and Aha!


• Experience and demonstrated success in executing mobile application UX in consumer or medical devices


• Working knowledge of User Research tools and methodologies


• Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams in a distributed environment


• Ability to prototype when necessary preferred


• Ongoing US travel as needed, at least once per quarter
