Simon Property Group is seeking a User Experience Design Intern to support the digital marketing and product design teams in crafting intuitive, user-centered experiences across our digital platforms.

You'll gain hands-on exposure to UX research, interaction design, and collaboration with designers, developers, marketers, and analysts to turn insights into practical design solutions. Strong communication and a passion for accessible design are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in user-centered design and digital experiences.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Basic understanding of UX research methods and usability principles.
• Ability to communicate design ideas clearly and effectively.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from feedback.
• Experience with prototyping and wireframing tools is a plus.
• Exposure to web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is beneficial but not required.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing web and mobile interfaces aligned with brand and accessibility standards.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and design documentation to communicate design intent.
• Analyze user behavior using tools like Clarity, Firebase or Google Analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and component libraries.
• Support content strategy efforts by structuring content for clarity and engagement.
• Advocate for inclusive design and accessibility best practices.
• Present design concepts and research findings to stakeholders.
