Job summary

Simon Property Group is seeking a Front End Developer Intern to support our front end/UX engineering queue in Indianapolis. You will help remediate accessibility findings and accelerate WCAG compliance while building responsive UI components.

Responsibilities include working from the backlog, collaborating with design, and contributing to code reviews in an agile environment. A related degree and strong HTML/CSS/JS skills are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a related field.
• Fundamental front end skills and a willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and development workflows.
• Interest in accessibility and WCAG standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete front end development tasks from the team's backlog.
• Remediate accessibility findings including semantic HTML and ARIA attributes.
• Build/update responsive UI components with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Test across browsers, devices, and assistive tech.
• Participate in code reviews, sprints, and QA cycles.
• Collaborate with UX Design Intern to translate mockups into interfaces.
