Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is offering a UX Design Intern role for motivated students beginning a career in UX. You will participate from discovery through design, research, and development, collaborating with the Digital UX team to balance user goals and business objectives for simple, thoughtful experiences.

The 11-week summer program emphasizes hands-on learning, professional development, and networking, with opportunities to work remotely or in a hybrid setup based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Design, User Experience Design, or related field.
• Rising juniors/seniors ideally graduating Dec 2027 or May 2028.
• Interest in beginning a career in UX or digital IT space.
• Strong eye for design and analytical skills with interest in research.
• Familiar with design/research tools such as Figma, Adobe, Lookback and Jira.
• Self-motivated and strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Must have authorization to work indefinitely in the US.

Responsibilities

• Design products using user-centered design processes and communicate the research story.
• Collaborate daily with designers on wireframes, prototypes, and visual design.
• Gain exposure to industry tools such as Figma, Adobe, Lookback and Jira.
• Learn branding and apply CSAA Design System consistently.
• Present work in weekly design review meetings with UX, engineering, and business leaders.
