Job summary
Geisinger is seeking an Experience Design / UX Intern to help improve internal digital products, workflows and communications within the Informatics & Analytics department. You will learn human‑centered design, user research, service design and AI‑enabled tools while contributing to real health‑system projects.
You will work with the Experience Designer and collaborate with analysts, developers and stakeholders across the health system.
Qualifications
- Student or early‑career designer seeking enterprise health system experience.
- Understanding of user research, IA, usability testing and visual design.
- Familiarity with design systems and cross‑functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and synthesize findings for internal products.
- Design intranet information architecture and interfaces.
- Create presentations, diagrams and flowcharts for projects.
- Support usability testing and content design efforts.
- Assist with interaction design, prototyping and design systems.
- Contribute to AI‑enabled experience design initiatives.
- Provide dashboard UX guidance to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with analysts, developers and other teams.
