Job summary

Kohler is seeking a User Experience Design Co-op to gain hands-on experience shaping intuitive digital experiences across Kohler’s websites, apps, and product platforms.

You will partner with design and cross-functional teams to support user research, usability testing, and concept evaluation. This role offers opportunities to contribute to real projects and develop skills in research, storytelling, and human-centered design.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university-level program in User Experience or related discipline.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating application of user-centered design practices in digital product design.
• Proficient with design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, with familiarity using Sketch, Figma, Flinto, Principle, InVision Studio, Marvel, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to share research insights and design concepts with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Research user needs, behaviors, and process flows across websites, apps, and digital products.
• Support planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of usability tests and research sessions.
• Study target customers through interviews, questionnaires, observations, and tests to uncover insights.
• Translate research findings into clear recommendations for improving user experience.
• Coordinate, conduct, and moderate usability tests and share key findings with teams.
