Job summary

Kohler in Kohler, WI is hiring an onsite UI Design co-op from May 2027 through December 2027 to shape usable, customer-focused experiences. You will partner with Human Factor researchers, Industrial Designers, engineering, and marketing to help shape UX/UI interaction design, research prototyping, and refinement.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate-level program in UX design or related field.
• Relevant experience in design research, user experience, or interaction design preferred.
• Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud; familiarity with Android and iOS.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to share insights and concepts.
• Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with researchers and designers to support new products and enhancements.
• Support understanding of consumer needs via user research, mock-ups, prototypes, and critiques.
• Conduct secondary research and advocate for customers during development.
• Create innovative interaction designs for products and services with clear differentiation.
• Build UX/UI prototypes and write behavior specs for product and app UI.
