Job summary

University of Vermont (UVM) invites high school juniors and seniors to join the Pre-College Ambassadors program in Burlington. You’ll act as the local face of the program, sharing benefits with peers and promoting events on school campuses and online.

You’ll create engaging content, manage social posts, and help organize two in-person events, with compensation per deliverable and timelines Feb–April. This paid role boosts your resume and networks.

Qualifications:

• You are currentlyaVermonthigh school junior or senior.
• You know UVM. You love UVM.
• You are willing to share thevalue of UVMPre-Collegewith your social media networks (3total social posts).
• You are willing and able to attendand managein-personevents forPre-College(2total events).
• You are flexible when it comes to changes and can easily adapt when challenges arise.
• You are creative and fun andwon’tbe shy about sharing your ideas with us.
• You are hardworking, reliable,and organized—you communicate and get the job done in a professional andtimelymanner.
• PreviousUVMPre-College program experience is a plus but notrequired.

Hoursrequired:About 2-4 hoursper week throughout the program(February–April).This may fluctuate slightly up or down depending on the week and activation but not by much.
This is a paid opportunity with compensation provided per completed deliverable / event:
$125 per TIk Tok video (3 videos total)
$150 per in-person event (2 events total)
