Tonkin Reconditioning Center in Portland is hiring a UVI Technician to perform Used Vehicle Inspections (UVIs) and document vehicle condition, repairs, and recommendations. You’ll coordinate with reconditioning and service teams to ensure smooth vehicle flow in a centralized operation.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Automotive service or inspection experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform Used Vehicle Inspections (UVIs) following Tonkin standards and procedures.
• Accurately document vehicle condition, needed repairs, and recommendations.
• Conduct basic reconditioning tasks as assigned.
• Coordinate with the reconditioning and service teams to ensure timely vehicle flow.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and workflow processes.
