Job summary

Tonkin Reconditioning Center is seeking a UVI Technician to perform thorough used vehicle inspections and light reconditioning before vehicles are distributed to Tonkin dealerships. Accuracy and speed are essential as this role supports multiple locations and consistent vehicle readiness.

You will document vehicle conditions, coordinate with reconditioning and service teams, and maintain a clean work area while adhering to safety policies and Tonkin standards.

Qualifications

• Automotive service or inspection experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform Used Vehicle Inspections (UVIs) following Tonkin standards and procedures.
• Accurately document vehicle condition, needed repairs, and recommendations.
• Conduct basic reconditioning tasks as assigned.
• Coordinate with the reconditioning and service teams to ensure timely vehicle flow.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and workflow processes.
