The role covers setup, color matching, quality checks, and documentation in a fast-paced shop. Training provided for trainees; experienced operators welcome with prior UV or offset press experience.

Qualifications

• Trainees require mechanical aptitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Experienced operators require prior experience operating UV or offset printing presses.
• Ability to work in hands-on, fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including future 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate UV printing presses
• Read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and print specifications
• Perform press make-readies and maintain run-speed standards
• Change plates, blankets, and cylinders as needed
• Monitor print quality, including ink coverage, density, registration, and color accuracy
• Match color proofs and customer samples
• Minimize waste and downtime by monitoring production performance
• Perform routine cleaning, wash-ups, and basic maintenance
• Accurately record press time, materials, and production data
• Troubleshoot press issues and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and standard operating procedures
