Job description

We are seeking a skilled Large Press Operator to join our team, operating a 5 color RMGT offset printing press. We are located in North East, PA which is about 20 minutes east of Erie. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and dedicated to producing high-quality print products. Position is for 1st shift; we are a one shift operation. Once you’ve proven your skills and understand our systems you will have the choice to work 4 10 hours shifts and have 3 day weekends if you desire.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain offset printing presses to ensure optimal performance and quality.
• Set up press runs, including loading paper, adjusting ink flow, and ensuring proper registration.
• Monitor printing processes and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
• Regular maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and customer specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the press area.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating offset press is a plus but willing to train an ideal candidate.
• Strong understanding of printing processes, color management, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders and technical specifications.
