Job description

National Inspection & Consultants (NIC), an Element Materials Technology Company, is seeking experienced and quality-driven Level II Ultrasonic Shear Wave (UTSW) Technicians to support NDT inspection activities involving structural steel welds and fabricated components. This is a contract position based in Pennsylvania with an expected duration of 12+ months.

Duration: 12+ months (Contract)

Compensation: Competitive

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Ultrasonic Shear Wave (UTSW) examinations on structural steel welds
• Conduct quality-driven NDT inspection activities on fabricated components
• Document and report inspection findings in accordance with client specifications and standards
• Maintain compliance with ITAR requirements and other regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Technical Experience: Demonstrated experience performing Ultrasonic Shear Wave (UTSW) examinations

Required Documentation

Candidates should submit:

• OJT and/or documented inspection experience records

Additional Requirements

• ITAR Compliance: ITAR requirements apply. Candidates must be eligible to work on ITAR-controlled projects.
