LCWSD seeks a Utility Worker to assist with maintenance, repair, and installation of water and sewer lines under general supervision. The role includes manual labor, tool transport, locating utilities, and operating a forklift.
An on-call after-hours schedule may be required. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license (Class A preferred), and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 40 pounds frequently.

Under general supervision, the Utility Worker assists with the maintenance, repair, and/or installation of LCWSD's water and sewer lines including pipes, valves, and service lines.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
A valid driver’s license is required. A Class A Commercial Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one is preferred.
The employee shall be compensated on an hourly work week with normal hours being 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday although after hour work may be required from time to time to fulfill the duties of the job. Employee will rotate an on call schedule. Employee will be paid bi-weekly (26 times per year).
Pay is based on skills, education, certification, experience, etc.
