Job summary

Transdev North America in El Centro, CA is seeking a part‑time Utility Worker/Service Employee to perform basic vehicle servicing duties and support safety‑driven operations.

Responsibilities include cleaning fleet vehicles, fueling buses, logging fluids, and light maintenance; a valid driver’s license is required, and DOT drug testing may apply.

Transdev in El Centro, CA is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee. The Utility Worker/Service Employee is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

CBA Position: Utility Worker/Service Employee

Position Subject To Collective Bargaining Agreement

• $20.54 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale)
• Starting pay $20.54

Benefits Include

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior
• Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles
• Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids
• Downloading drive cameras & probes fare boxes
• Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

• Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
