Job summary

Bear River Casino is seeking a dedicated cleaner to perform deep cleaning of kitchen equipment, grease traps, and related areas. The role focuses on keeping kitchens clean, organized, and safe for daily operations.

Responsibilities include sweeping, scrubbing floors, washing dishes, cleaning ovens and vents, and maintaining orderly workspaces. Candidates should follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and respect tribal considerations while supporting a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean condition.
• Sweep and scrub floors as needed.
• Dump and clean garbage cans in kitchen and dining areas.
• Clean ovens, stoves, vents, and related kitchen equipment.
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans and backfill dishwashing position as needed.
• Keep work area neat, organized and free of slip hazards.
• Stock and straighten areas following procedures.

General responsibility is to keep kitchens clean and organized.**E****S****S****E****NTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following.* Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.* Sweep and/or scrub floors.* Dump garbage cans located in kitchen, dish room, and seating areas as necessary. Clean garbage cans with water or steam.* Scrub and polish counter tops, steam tables, fountain equipment and other related equipment.* Perform cleaning duties to keep equipment and facilities sanitary.* Clean and polish shelves, walls, furniture, and/or equipment in food service areas or other areas of restaurants as needed.* Cleans and degreases ovens, stoves, vents and other related kitchen equipment.* Regularly wash dishes, pots and pans as needed to backfill dishwashing position.* Stocks, stores, and straightens up according to procedures.* Must keep work area neat, organized and free of slip and trip hazards.* Other duties may be assigned.**AUTHORITY/S****UPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**: None**Q****U****A****LIFICATIONS**: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
