The City of Pasadena is seeking a team-oriented worker to install and repair water lines, fire hydrants, and valves, and to install new meters and taps. You must maintain required licenses, certifications, and clearances, and follow the city’s timekeeping and attendance policy.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED with one year of related experience, valid Texas driver’s license, and physical readiness for lifting and moving heavy items.
Duties Working with co-workers as a team on installing water lines, repairing water lines, fire hydrants and valves. Installing new meters and taps. Must have and maintain, without interruption, all necessary licenses, certifications, clearances, and/or job requirements. Works the assigned schedule and complies with the City's timekeeping and attendance policy.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Texas driver's license and good driving record. Position may require moderate to heavy lifting and carrying; kneeling, crouching and bending; pushing, pulling and reaching; and standing for prolonged periods of time
