Job summary

Stoneridge Creek is seeking a dedicated Utility Worker to support kitchen operations in a senior living community. The role includes pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning, and safe storage of supplies. Strong English comprehension and prior kitchen cleaning experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Clean kitchen thoroughly daily and mop floors as scheduled.

• Distribute and store clean pots, dishes and utensils.
• Sanitize production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen following procedures.
• Restock and manage storage areas as needed.

Shift: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM. Varied Days. Weekends and holidays required.

Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour + bonuses + annual pay increases

General Summary The Utility Worker performs a number of kitchen activities including pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and nonfood supplies.

Principle Duties

• Cleans kitchen thoroughly daily, including mopping floors at designated times.
• Sets up the dish and pot washing area, and washes pots, dishes and utensils.
• Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensils.
• Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Empties all trash containers in kitchen into dumpster daily.
• Keeps storerooms, freezers and refrigerators clean.
• Mops floors at designated times.
• Stores food and non‑food supplies, restocking provisions after deliveries.
• Limited preparations of vegetables and provisions in time of need under direct supervision.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Critical Function

• This position is essential to the safety of our residents and staff; and to the operation and function of the community. Employee may be recalled to report to work for an emergency, unusual occurrence, resident care need, visit from regulatory/governing agencies or any other event deemed necessary by the Executive Director, Administrator, and designee.
