Transdev in Allentown, PA is seeking a Utility Worker/Service Employee to perform basic vehicle servicing duties and assist with safety-focused maintenance. The role emphasizes customer service and reliability in a transit environment.

Qualifications

• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior.
• Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles.
• Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids.
• Perform light maintenance on shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Other duties as required.

Transdev in Allentown, PA is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee. The Utility Worker/Service Employee is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service‑oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Compensation

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $18.25 an hour with annual merit increase

Benefits include:

• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
• Sick days: 5 days
• Holidays: 7 standard and 4 floating
• Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior
• Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles

Physical Requirements:

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions
• Frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 25 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
