Job summary

RATP Dev USA is seeking a dependable Utility Worker with a valid CDL to support onsite fleet operations in Maryland. You will help keep vehicles clean, safe, and ready while ensuring OSHA/CDC compliance.

Responsibilities include detailing vehicles monthly, inspecting for damage, tracking fluids, and maintaining records. Requires 2+ years in vehicle servicing, High School diploma, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overnight schedule 6:30 pm–3:00 am.

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL with Air Brake and Passenger endorsements – Required.
  • No criminal convictions or DWI/DUI, assault, or controlled substance possession within past 5 years.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment evaluation, DOT physical, drug/alcohol screening, and background checks.
  • Minimum 2 years in vehicle servicing, fleet maintenance, or equivalent.
  • General knowledge of fuels, lubricants, vehicle safety procedures, and cleaning materials.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds, and to sit/stand, walk, climb, kneel, crawl.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, sanitize, and wash interiors/exteriors of fleet vehicles per OSHA/CDC standards.

  • Check and document fluid levels (oil, DEF, coolant, washer).

  • Close and secure office/shop at day end; perform other duties.

Profil De Candidat Recherché

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused Utility Worker with a valid CDL to support our onsite fleet operations. This hands-on role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and readiness of our vehicles and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean, sanitize, and wash the interior and exterior of fleet vehicles in accordance with OSHA and CDC standards
  • Detail an agreed-upon number of vehicles per month
  • Inspect vehicles and document any damage; report findings to management
  • Check, maintain, and document system fluid levels (oil, DEF, coolant, washer fluid, etc.)
  • Ensure all vehicle emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, body-fluid kit, first aid kit) is fully stocked and functional
  • Accurately report end-of-day (EOD) mileage for all vehicles
  • Maintain clear, detailed records of all services performed
  • Safely move vehicles between job sites and work areas using CDL credentials
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
  • Assist team members as needed
  • Close and secure the office and shop at the end of each day
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Air Brake and Passenger endorsements – Required
  • No criminal convictions or DWI/DUI, assault, or controlled substance possession within the past five (5) years
  • Ability to successfully pass:
    • Pre-employment performance evaluation
    • DOT physical
    • Drug and alcohol screening
    • Background investigation and pre-employment assessments
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience related to vehicle servicing, fleet maintenance, or equivalent experience
  • General knowledge of fuels, lubricants, vehicle safety procedures, and cleaning materials
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel, and crawl as required
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required
Compensation
  • Pay Rate: $19.85 per hour
