Utility Worker

Location: York, PA

Summary

We are seeking a Utility Worker to support our manufacturing team at the North American Hydro Division in York, PA. The role involves supporting various tasks, prioritizing multiple assignments, and working independently. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and responsible.

Responsibilities

1. Perform work safely, using appropriate PPE.
2. Work with minimal supervision.
3. Assist machine operators with setup, teardown, and maintenance of machine tools and equipment.
4. Deburr components and grind weld holding clips as needed.
5. Manage waste disposal, including garbage, cardboard, shop rags, and oil drums.
6. Maintain the machine shop area and manage chip scows and debris.
7. Assist material handlers and riggers as needed.
8. Operate forklifts safely to move products.
9. Complete daily preventive maintenance forms.
10. Maintain cleanliness of floors and replace floor mats.
11. Ensure equipment and hazards are properly stored and managed.
12. Maintain safety cabinets and respond to spills.
13. Perform general duties as directed by supervision.
