Utility Worker
Location: York, PA

Summary:

We are seeking a Utility Worker to support our manufacturing team at the North American Hydro Division in York, PA. The role involves assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work independently, and capable of prioritizing multiple assignments.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform all work safely, using the correct PPE for each task.
• Work with minimal supervision and stay focused on assigned tasks.
• Assist machine operators with setup, teardown, and maintenance of machine tools and equipment.
• Deburr components and grind weld holding clips as needed.
• Manage waste by emptying garbage, cardboard baskets, and shop rag containers daily.
• Maintain oil storage, replace waste oil and coolant drums.
• Keep outside chip container areas clean and free of debris.
• Assist material handlers and riggers as needed.
• Operate forklifts safely to move products in and out of the department.
• Complete daily preventive maintenance forms at the start of each shift.
• Clean floors daily and replace disposable mats as necessary.
• Store unused pallets, wood blocking, hoses, and other equipment securely.
• Maintain pneumatic tools, hydraulic jacks, and air lines.
• Refill spill response and chemical safety containers as needed.
• Perform general duties as directed by supervision.
