Job summary

Transdev in Irvine, CA is hiring a Utility Worker to perform basic vehicle servicing duties with a focus on safety and customer service.

The role includes cleaning fleet vehicles, fueling, logging fluids, light shop duties, and reporting issues to the supervisor. Wage is $18.83 per hour under a collective bargaining agreement. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and sick time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years.
• Must be well organized and able to read/write English.
• PC literate and able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Subject to DOT drug testing where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles – interior and exterior.
• Drive, maneuver, and park vehicles as needed.
• Fuel buses, replenish fluids, and log fluids.
• Download drive cameras & probes fare boxes.
• Perform light maintenance in shop areas and fueling stations.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Other duties as required.

Transdev in Irvine, CA is hiring a Utility Worker. The Utility Worker is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior
• Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles
• Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids
• Downloading drive cameras & probes fare boxes
• Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
• Must be well organized
• Knowledge of ship safety standards.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must be PC literate.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
• Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
