The role involves reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and collaborating across departments with a Mon–Thu 3:15pm–1:45am schedule. Starting pay is $19.50+ per hour, DOE, with benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED, 1–3 months of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of both.
  • Forklift License required (or willingness to obtain through training).
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, electronic specifications, and executing basic math calculations.
  • Hands‑on experience with machine tools and precision measurement instruments.
  • Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. frequently; comfortable sitting, standing, bending, and working in a loud industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, set up, and troubleshoot various machines (including lathes and mills) to manufacture precision components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, tech standards, and production schedules.
  • Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacements.
  • Identify mechanical or technical issues to minimize downtime and report performance to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace and collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.

Utility Worker | $19.50+/hr - Depending on Experience Monday–Thursday, 3:15pm-1:45am

An established manufacturing company in Humboldt, IA is looking for a versatile and reliable Utility Worker to support plant operations! The Utility Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks across the facility, including machine operation, parts inspection, and routine maintenance, ensuring smooth workflow and high quality standards. Individuals with machining or general manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities
  • Flexibly support plant operations by performing assignments across various departments as directed.
  • Operate, set up, and troubleshoot various machines (including lathes and mills) to manufacture precision components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, tech standards, and production schedules.
  • Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacements.
  • Identify mechanical or technical issues to minimize downtime and report performance to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace and collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
