Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks an Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment and remove branches from electrical lines. The role requires identifying tree species, understanding electrical hazards, and complying with safety guidelines.

The position involves coordinating crew work, operating a range of equipment, and ensuring quality production. A valid driver license and pre-employment checks are required, with a competitive hourly pay structure.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work.
• Operates and services equipment such as gasoline, hydraulic tools, power saws, power winches, mower deck, weed whacker, chipper, and sprayers.
• Cleans up and disposes of all debris.
• Ensures safety, quality and production requirements are met.
• Obtains permission from property owners to trim/remove trees or perform work.
