Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator. This role requires a valid driver license and the ability to operate multiple heavy machines to remove branches and vegetation from electrical lines.

You will travel to job sites across state lines and perform routine equipment maintenance in a safety-focused environment. The position is full-time, non-exempt, with competitive hourly wages and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possesses working knowledge and be able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers, and stump grinders.
• Transport equipment to and from multi-state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, barbed wire, culverts, rocks and base.
• Use a chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Maintain and service truck, chipper and equipment to keep them in good order.
• Work around hazards and wear hearing protection in noisy environments.
