Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking a skilled utility arborist to perform pruning, removal, and tree care for major electric utility providers in Lake Worth, FL. You will work on the ground and at height using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS climbing systems, operate chainsaws and aerial lifts, and collaborate with crew and foreperson to complete jobs safely.

The role is full-time, on-site with up to 25% travel, and offers paid time off, 401(k) with match, health plan, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Ability to complete Davey Tree Orientation Program on hire.
• Ability to complete Davey Tree First Aid/CPR on hire.
• Required: valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: CDL-A or B with Airbrake Endorsement.
• Preferred: line clearance/tree work experience.
• Preferred: pesticide licenses/certificates as required by state law.
• Preferred: ISA/TCIA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Prune and remove trees safely for utility providers.
• Remove damaged limbs from lines, roofs, and objects.
• Identify trees using industry guidelines.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment (chainsaws, lifts).
• Work cooperatively with ground crew and foreperson.
