Job summary

United Site Services, Inc. is seeking a reliable Utility Technician in Virginia to operate service, flat bed, fence, and tanker trucks across multiple sites. You will perform inspections, follow routing, and maintain logs while upholding safety standards.

The role leads fence jobs when assigned, communicates with dispatch, and ensures timely delivery and pickup of portable units and equipment. CDL or non-commercial license required with strong time management and customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver License (CDL or non-commercial).
• Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections and report deficiencies.
• Report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Operations Manager.
• Operate service truck to/from pre-designated work sites based on routing information.
• Service portable restrooms, holding tanks, septic tanks, sinks, and showers at various sites following guidelines.
• Notify management of issues on the assigned back-up route.
• Maintain radio contact with dispatch for updates.
• Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Follow safety rules and regulations.
• Operate flat bed truck to deliver or pick up portable units and containers.
• Update tickets with delivery/pick-up details.
• Operate fence truck and lead fence jobs when crew assigned.
• Operate tanker/transfer truck and complete required paperwork.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
