Job summary

United Site Services, Inc in Sparks, NV is seeking a dependable Utility Technician to operate service, fence, tanker, and flatbed trucks to service portable restrooms and related equipment at diverse work sites.

You will perform pre- and post-shift inspections, maintain accurate logs, coordinate with dispatch, deliver and pick up units, and oversee fence jobs when assigned, all while following safety rules and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver License (CDL or non-commercial).
• Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections and report deficiencies.
• Report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Operations Manager.
• Operate service truck to/from pre-designated work sites per routing information.
• Service portable restrooms, holding tanks, septic tanks, sinks, showers at various sites per guidelines.
• Notify management of issues on back-up routes assigned.
• Maintain telephone or radio contact with dispatch for instructions and location changes.
• Maintain truck logs per state and federal regulations.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations.
• Operate flat bed truck to deliver or pick up portable restroom units and related items.
• Operate fence truck and lead on fence jobs when assigned.
• Operate tanker/transfer truck and complete required paperwork.
• Complete special projects as assigned by management.
