Job summary

UGI Utilities, Inc., a part of UGI Corporation, is seeking a Utility A Start to perform basic construction and Utility tasks. The role includes responding to leak/CO complaints, installing meter sets, and performing service installations in a safety-conscious environment.

The position requires a PA driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to obtain a CDL A license within 6 months. Shift work is possible to meet company needs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain CDL A operator's license within 6 months of hire.
• Good mechanical or pipefitting skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Shift work may be required and hours may vary.

Responsibilities

• Build and install meter sets and basic pipe fitting.
• Complete turn ons and light ups.
• Meter reading and MRSLIP investigations.
• Leak pinpointing and repairs, service installations.
• Inspect UGI Contractor crews, PA One Call locates, respond to leak/CO complaints when qualified.
