Job summary

UGI Utilities, Inc. is seeking a Utility A Start to perform basic construction and utility tasks, including installing meter sets and responding to service needs in the field. The role requires a valid PA driver's license, a high school diploma, and the ability to adapt to varying shift schedules.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Good mechanical or pipefitting skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills a plus.
• Must be available for shift work.

Responsibilities

• Build and install meter sets and basic pipe fitting.
• Complete turn ons and light ups.
• Meter reading and complete MRSLIP investigations.
• Leak pinpointing and repairs, service installations.
• Inspect UGI Contractor crews and respond to leak/CO complaints when qualified.
