Job summary

The Budd Group in Greensboro, NC is hiring a Utility Tech to keep our manufacturing facility clean, safe, and running smoothly. You will operate a forklift and other equipment, contain spills, scrub aisles, and support daily plant operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of janitorial, utility, or industrial facility experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift and/or tugger to empty hoppers and maintain the pallet yard.
• Contain and clean up spills, plus sweeping and scrubbing plant aisles.
• Monitor recycle trailer drop-offs/pick-ups and clean around waste pre-crusher and cardboard compactor.
• Clear debris from storm drains, pallet yards, fence lines, and cleaning conveyor and trim pits.

What You’ll Do

As an Industrial Cleaner on our team, you keep our manufacturing plant safe, clean, and operating smoothly every day! Your daily responsibilities as a Custodian will include:

• Operating a forklift and/or tugger to empty hoppers and maintain the pallet yard.
• Containing and cleaning up spills, plus sweeping and scrubbing plant aisles.
• Monitoring recycle trailer drop-offs/pick-ups and cleaning around the waste pre-crusher and cardboard compactor.
• Serving as a dedicated Janitor by clearing debris from storm drains, pallet yards, fence lines, and cleaning conveyor and trim pits.
