Job summary

The Budd Group is seeking a Commercial Cleaner in Gaffney, SC to keep our facilities safe, clean, and efficient across all shifts. This on-site role offers two full-time options with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

You will operate a forklift or tugger, perform routine housekeeping tasks, and help maintain pallets, aisles, and waste areas to ensure smooth plant operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of industrial cleaning or heavy equipment operation background.
• Demonstrated ability to operate a forklift and/or tugger safely.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively throughout shift.
• Strong work ethic, dedication to safety, and a positive team attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift and/or tugger to empty hoppers, maintain the pallet yard, and handle waste equipment safely.
• Serve as an expert industrial cleaner by sweeping and scrubbing plant aisles, cleaning conveyor pits, containing spills, and managing compactor areas.
• Work collaboratively as an essential custodian to clear storm drains, fence lines, and execute general sanitation duties.

Commercial Cleaner

• Pay: $13.50–$15.00/hr (Depending on shift)

• Schedule Options:

  • Option A: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM ($13.50/hr) Housekeeping

  • Option B: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM ($15.00/hr) Utility

• Requirements: 1–3 years of experience; ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively; ability to operate forklift/tuggerm(Utility)

• 1–3 years of experience; ability to lift 35 lbs repetitively; Perform daily routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal (housekeeping)
