Job summary

The Budd Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Greensboro, NC facility. You’ll help keep the building running smoothly day by day, working closely with the Facilities Manager to address repairs and routine upkeep.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of hands-on maintenance experience, and basic HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical skills. A valid driver's license is required. This is a full-time, on-site position with occasional overtime.

Maintenance Technician

• Pay: Competitive Pay (Specific hourly rate recommended)

• Location: N Elm Street, Greensboro, NC (On-site)

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Full-Time; 32.5 hrs/week base with occasional OT/on-call)

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician on our team, you keep our Greensboro facility running smoothly every single day! Working alongside our Facility Manager, your day-to-day as a Building Maintenance Technician will include:

• Handling minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC repairs (filters, belts, lighting ballasts, sinks, outlets, and breakers).

• Performing general building upkeep, painting, structural repairs, and routine preventive maintenance.

• Operating as a versatile Facilities Technician to troubleshoot issues, complete digital work orders, and fix potential safety hazards.

• Maintaining company vehicles, using hand and power tools safely, and following all lockout/tagout safety protocols.

What You Bring To The Team

• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a maintenance role.

• Working knowledge of basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry trades.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, safely climb ladders, and use hand/power tools.

• A great attitude, clear communication skills, and willingness to share on-call rotation.
