Job summary

Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Bethel, Alaska, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general mechanical and preventative maintenance on hospital utility systems. You will handle electrical, HVAC, water, sewer, and medical gas systems to ensure reliable hospital operations.

The role requires knowledge of boilers, HVAC with DDC control, and basic plumbing/electrical tools, plus a valid Alaska driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Trade/Technical School is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of boilers and related boiler room equipment. On-the-job training provided. Basic knowledge of computers.
• Valid Alaska Driver’s License.
• Basic plumbing and electrical tools.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, including computerized DDC control.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of general mechanical and preventative maintenance activities for hospital Utility Systems including electrical, emergency power, heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, water, sewer, steam, medical gas (oxygen & air), medical vacuum, fuel, communications and security functions for YKDRH.

Position Summary
