Job summary

Qualifications

• Fork truck certification may be required.
• Some experience or training in equipment operation, construction labor, or maintenance on water/wastewater lines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and repairing water, wastewater, and stormwaterlines and related components.
• Operate a variety of equipment and tools for department activities.
• Locate lines, leaks, valves, and manholes and assist with safety and housekeeping.
• Read distribution and collection maps to locate service lines, valves, and mains.
• Maintain trucks, tools, and inventory; respond to emergencies as needed.
